Keynote Speakers Announced for Developing Amazing Leaders Conference

The agenda for the 2008 Developing Amazing Leaders Conference is full of exciting, educational and inspiring sessions. We are thrilled to announce two top-notch keynote speakers who will be joining us: Mark Sanborn and Aimee Mullins. Don’t miss out on what promises to be an amazing gathering for the Paralympic movement.

Mark Sanborn
 – "You Don’t Need a Title to be a Leader"

Crop-MarkSanbornInternational bestselling author and noted authority on leadership, team building, customer service and change, Mark Sanborn, will open our conference with an inspiring presentation on how each of us can be a leader in our daily lives and make a positive difference, whatever our title or position.

Mark is a past president of the National Speakers Association and is one of the youngest speakers ever to be inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame. He has authored seven books and nearly two dozen audio and video training programs. His book, The Fred Factor, continues to be an international phenomenon that debuted as a Wall Street Journal and Business Week best-seller. His latest book, You Don’t Need a Title to be a Leader,  was released by Random House in 2006 and was an instant Amazon business book bestseller.

Aimee Mullins – "Leading Through Sport"

While attending Georgetown University she became the first athlete with a disability to compete against able-bodied athletes on an NCAA Division I track and field team. She represented the United States in the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta and set world records in the 100m, 200m and long jump. Aimee has received numerous awards, both on and off the field, and has been featured in several films, television shows, magazines and books.
