Roster Announced for 2007 U.S. Paralympics Cycling World Championships Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - U.S. Paralympics, a division of the United States Olympic Committee, announced Wednesday the 15 athletes who will compete at the 2007 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Cycling World Championships, Aug. 19-27 in Bordeaux, France.

The team will feature three medalists from last year's World Championships: Alejandro Albor (Elk Grove, Calif.), who won the men's HCC Road Race, Barb Buchan (CP3, Bend, Ore.), who earned silver and set a world record in the women's LC3-4/CP3 Time Trial, and Allison Jones (LC3, Denver, Colo.), who won the bronze in the same time trial.

The roster will also include four athletes making their first appearance at a World Championships: Kelly Crowley (Redwood City, Calif.), who won two gold medals as a swimmer at the 2004 Paralympic Games, handcyclist David Lee (Cardiff by the Sea, Calif.), who finished fourth in the men's Road Time Trial, 2007 women's Road Time Trial National Champion Jennifer Schuble (Birmingham, Ala.) and 2007 men's Pursuit bronze medalist Anthony Zahn (Riverside, Calif.)
