USEF Para Equestrian Training Session to be Held in March with Sharon Schneidman

The USEF is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Para Equestrian Training Session with International dressage competitor Sharon Schneidman, March 25-26 at the Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Woodville, Wash. This Training Session is open to all riders of various disabilities who wish to learn more about competing in dressage at the National or International Level. The training sessions will last 45 minutes each and auditors are invited to attend at no charge.

The U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a Para Equestrian Training Session with U.S. Para Equestrian Team Coach and international event rider Missy Ransehousen, January 19-20 at the J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. This training session is designed to help riders who have various disabilities learn more about competing in dressage at a national or international level.

With the most countries ever represented in a Para Equestrian World Championship, Hartpury College in Gloucestershire England welcomed approximately 150 riders to the 2007 Para Dressage World Championships. The teams woke up to torrential rain on the first day of competition on Friday, July 20. Roads into and out of Gloutcestershire and surrounding areas were closed due to flooding and several officials and staff trying to get to the venue spent the night in shelters.

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named the horse-and-rider combinations that will represent the United States at the 2007 FEI World Para-Dressage Championships. The announcement follows the 2007 USEF National Para-Equestrian Championship and World Championship Selection Trial, which was held on May 13 in conjunction with the Paxton Farm Spring Classic II & CDI***/Y. The 2007 FEI World Para-Dressage Championships are to be held July 16-22, 2007, in Hartbury, Great Britain.
