Personal Profile:
Jones first learned about sled hockey at the rink where his brother had figure skating practice. It was there that the South Jersey Wings of Steel sled hockey club had their practices. Jones became interested, and joined the club at the age of 12, and has been playing for the Wings ever since.

Jones first made the National Team in 2005, and he made the switch from defenseman to forward as the team prepared for the Paralympic Winter Games. In Torino, Jones scored a pair of goals and teamed up with Brad Emmerson and Alexi Salamone to form, arguably, the most potent U.S. line in the tournament.

Off the ice, Jones is in his last year at Camden County Vocational-Technical School, where he has been studying carpentry. After graduating, he said he will probably go into the construction business.

Major Achievements:
  • 2006: Bronze medal - Paralympic Winter Games, Torino, Italy
  • 2005: Named member of U.S. Paralympics Sled Hockey National Team
