Personal Profile:
After being brought up to the Senior National Team from the Junior National Team last year, Hallman made the team outright in 2005. He was one of four defensemen on the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team, fulfilling what the 16-year-old considered “a lifelong dream,” and made the most of his opportunity. Hallman finished the tournament as the top scorer among U.S. defensemen and finished with a +4 rating. He was also the only U.S. defenseman to score a goal in Torino, doing so against Norway in the semifinals.

Hallman, a junior at Hatboro Horsham High School in Hatboro, Pa., has already been playing sled hockey for half of his young life. Fellow U.S. National Team member Mike Doyle introduced Hallman to the sport when he was just eight years old, and he’s been playing ever since. Hallman currently plays for the Hammerheads of the Atlantic Hockey League.  In addition to sled hockey, Hallman rows with Pennsylvania Rowing for the Physically Disabled. In his free time, he likes listening to music, going to movies, hanging out with friends and playing guitar.
