MARIBOR, Slovenia (Jan. 7) - Continued rains and unseasonal temperatures that softened the snow forced organizers to cancel a women’s World Cup giant slalom Saturday. Officials said Sunday’s slalom also was threatened but they hoped to reschedule the GS for Monday.
