ARCHERY:

Resident Selection Camp, January 1-February 28 (10 participants)

- Selection of 2006 Resident Athlete Team

Women’s Development Camp, January 13-16 (8 participants)

- Short-term camp and instruction for young archers

ATHLETICS:

Ongoing Resident Team Training (20 participants)

- Training and medical rehabilitation for track and field athletes

- Participants include 2004 Olympians Toby Stevenson, Ian Waltz, Jarred Rome, Brenda Taylor, Shelia Burrell, Jamie Nieto, Amy Acuff and Tora Harris

Belgium Track and Field Training Camp, December 27-January 11 (3 participants)

- Warm weather, preseason training for Belgian athletes

Running USA California, January 31-February 8 (16 participants)

- Warm weather, sea-level training for long distance running group

CANOE/KAYAK:

Sprint Resident Program (8 participants)

- Long-term training program for sprint kayak athletes

- Participants include 2004 Olympians Carrie Johnson and Andy Bussey

Priority Boat Selection Camp, January 23-April 23 (10 participants)

- Final sprint boat selections for summer competitions

CYCLING:

Junior Development Track Camp, December 27-January 3 (26 participants)

- Warm weather training for junior track cyclists

Junior Road Camp, January 15-22 (15 participants)

- Preseason training for junior road cyclists

Power Based Training Coaches Seminar, January 20-23 (36 participants)

- Coaching education and technical training for cycling coaches

Espoir Spring Camp, January 31-March 23 (22 participants)

- Regular preseason, warm-weather training for junior cyclists

FIELD HOCKEY:

Women’s Training Camp, January 23-March 12 (56 participants)

- Preparations for 2006 World Cup Qualifier

PARALYMPIC SPORTS:

Track and Field Resident Team Training (6 participants)

- Training and medical rehabilitation for Paralympic track and field athletes

- Participants include 2004 Paralympians Marlon Shirley, April Holmes, Jeff Skiba, Nalacey Porter and Royal Mitchell

ROWING:

Men’s Heavy and Lightweight Sculls Camp, January 13-February 12 (16 participants)

- Preparations for spring competitions

Lightweight Doubles Training Camp, January 20-February 12 (3 participants)

- Preparations for spring competitions

SOCCER:

Goalkeeper License Training, January 5-10 (46 participants)

- U.S. Soccer coaching education program

State Referee Instruction Seminar, January 25-29 (20 participants)

- Education and instruction for soccer referees

SOFTBALL:

Women’s National Team Training, January 9-13 (30 participants)

- Regular monthly training for Women’s National Softball Team

- Several members of the 2004 Olympic gold medal team will participate

WRESTLING:

U.S. and Canadian Women’s Wrestling Camp, January 2-13 (80 participants)

- Training and preparation for upcoming competitions

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Exercise the Dream, January 18 (300 participants)

- Monthly education program for Chula Vista Elementary School District third-graders
