SPEEDSKATING: Greer Sets New American Junior Record

CALGARY, Canada (March 11, 2005) -- A new Junior American speedskating record was set Thursday at the Olympic Oval Finale in Calgary.Kreg Greer (Marquette, Mich.) set a new 10,000-meters Junior American record with a finish time of 14:12.71. Nick Pearson (Vernon, Wis.) held the previous record of 14:25.81 set in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Jan. 10, 1999. ## USS expresses its sincere appreciation to its gold medal sponsors (ADT, Qwest), silver medal sponsor (Nike) and bronze medal sponsors (Dow, TOSH-IHC, Jet Set Sports, DMT, Hilton Salt Lake Center) for their generous support.
