CSOTC Sports Centers//Venue Operations Specialist (Part Time)
SUMMARY: Perform the set-up, tear down, and maintenance of the CSOTC sports equipment, and meeting rooms in accordance with established policy. Be the secondary contact for approved user groups (E.g. NGB, USOC and community groups). Maintain inventory control records for the Venue Operations Department. Primary point of contact with NGBs, athletes, and other venue users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Functions include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform the set-up, tear down, operation, and maintain all sports equipment, meeting rooms, and audiovisual equipment in all the venue facilities as assigned. 2. Create and maintain inventory control records for all department equipment to include: sports, audiovisual, and office equipment. Also inventory equipment as in portable timing/score boards, flags, tools, etc. 3. Assist users in the correct operation of audiovisual equipment, timing/scoring systems, and athletic equipment. 4. Conduct periodic inspections of all venues throughout the duty shift to ensure proper use of the venues. 5. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, and equipment repair needs to the Venue Operations Lead. 6. Verify user identifications and ensure only authorized users access facilities. 7. Enforce safety and fire code regulations within the venues in accordance with established policy. 8. Perform general office duties: answer the telephone, respond in a professional manner to inquiries from visitors and users, and provide staff presence and assistance. 9. Complete special projects as assigned. 10. Access a computerized master schedule of all events scheduled by the CSOTC Operations Department for compliance. 11. Conduct inspections of the Athlete Center, sports facilities, meeting rooms, and housing areas and report any concerns to the Venue Operations Lead. 12. Second responder to blood-borne pathogen contamination. 13. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent experience Experience in an athletic setting with multiple use activities Experience with athletic facility and meeting room operation to include timing/scoring systems, audiovisual systems, and lighting systems Knowledge of technical needs of athletic sports Experience in athletic equipment set-up, dismantle, and movement, including national and international specifications Experience with computer operation Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR Ability to travel as required Fork lift/pallet jack operators license/certification Have or receive Hepatitis B vaccination
