CSOTC Sport Resources // Coordinator, Sport Partnerships
SUMMARY: Assist with all aspects in the day-to-day administration of the respective Sport Partnerships portfolio, with particular emphasis on providing support in selection procedures, athlete programs and tracking international results. Support and work in conjunction with other Sport Performance areas to ensure collaboration and optimal service are provided to other USOC function areas and all NGBs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Functions include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Serve as a “project manager” for certain identified areas and/or project within Sport Performance. 2. Assist the Team Selection Working Group in the development and review of NGB and Paralympic selection procedures. 3. Assist in the resource allocation process for NGBs in designated portfolio. 4. Monitor, track and analyze international results. 5. Monitor, track and prepare summary reports on action items and noteworthy issues within International Federations and NGBs of the respective portfolio. 6. Assist in the creation of EAHI criteria and quarterly monitoring of EAHI recipients for NGBs in respective portfolio. 7. Assist in the administration of the Olympic Jobs Opportunity Program. 8. Compile data for Performance Partnership Agreements (PPA). 9. Compile and report on NGB Financial information (audit, budgets, 990, etc) within the respective portfolio. 10. Monitor and track support (including VIK) and services (including OTCs, Coaching, Sport Medicine Sports Science, Athlete Development, etc) provided to NGBs within the respective portfolio. 11. Conduct special administrative projects identified by the Associate Director, Sport Partnerships. 12. Upon request, assist staff team members with any NGB follow-up. 13. Upon request, be assigned temporarily to a supporting role in another Sport Performance Division. 14. Work in conjunction with other Sport Partnerships team members and other USOC divisions to ensure collaboration and optimal performance-based services are provided to all NGBs. 15. Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Sport Partnerships.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT: • Standard office equipment
CONDITIONS: • Office environment in multi-story building on multi-building site • Extensive travel possible based on specific assignment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration or related field. • Minimum 1 year working with Olympic sport programs (preferably an NGB) or 3 years in sports related work. • Excellent analytical skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Excellent computer skills. • Ability to multi-task and be versatile. • Strong customer service skills.
