Belbin, a native of Canada, became eligible for the U.S. team when she was sworn in as a U.S. citizen on Dec. 31, 2005. “I have lived here (in the United States) for so long, and this was the last piece of the puzzle," said Belbin. “We (Ben and I) feel it is our time to shine."
