As a seventh-grader, Darwitz competed on the Eagan (Minn.) High School team against girls who were as many as five years older.  Yet, she totaled a Gretzky-like 85 goals and 48 assists in just 25 games. A year later, she had 85 goals and 58 assists in 28 games - that's 170 goals before enrolling in high school.
