Eric Bergoust
- Four-time U.S. Olympian; 1998 Olympic aerials champion
- 1999 World champion in aerials
- 2001 and 2002 World Cup champion
- Won 15 career World Cup titles
- His nickname is 'Bergy.' "It started in grade school where there were a lot of Erics. In high school, I was the only Eric because my school was so small so it went back to Eric until I started Aerials where there were other Erics again."
- Hosted his own talk show, The Air Bergy Show, on usolympicteam.com. He talks with top Olympic athletes in the edgy, often outrageous, show
- Favorite Olympic moment occurred "When I landed my second jump in Nagano at the Olympic Winter Games. The minute I landed I knew I had won the gold medal
- Enjoys competing in Meiringen, Switzerland, "because it looks like Montana and every time I've competed there I've won." (Two World Cups and one World Championship)
- As a child, wanted to be stunt man or fighter pilot and Evel Knievel was his hero
- When Mitt Romney, head of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, showed Bergoust what the medal for Salt Lake would look like, Bergoust would not touch it. He said he wasn't worthy yet

"Shoveling driveways was my first job when I was eight years old. As far as my oddest job it would have to be any of the following: I was a janitor, draftsman, fence repairer, house scraper and painter, envelope stuffer, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, rock picker upper, post hole digger, house constructor, dock builder, bus boy, fry cook, steak cook, prep cook, waiter, ditch digger, window washer, insulation installer, wood chopper, horse feeder, hay bucker, irrigation pipe mover, paper boy, ice cream bar salesman, ski tuner, tennis racket stringer, bike mechanic, coach, aerial jump builder, retail clothing salesman, ski and boot salesman, telemarketer and pizza maker." -- Eric Bergoust on usolympicteam.com

On his most painful injury, when, as a child, he attempted a double backflip on his trampoline, came up short and landed on his shin on the metal frame:
"It sounded crazy, like a crow bar hitting a flagpole."
