Graves, Todd
- 2000 Olympic bronze medalist in skeet
- Won a team silver at the 2002 World Championships in skeet
- Silver medalist in skeet at the 2002 National Championships
- 2002 Sydney World Cup silver medalist in skeet
- 1996 Olympian in skeet (12th place) and 1992 Olympian in trap (11th place) and skeet (29th place)
- Is an E-7 Sergeant First Class with the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit in Ft. Benning, Ga.
- His mother always watches him compete by peeking from behind the stands, because she gets so nervous. At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, an Australian woman saw her and gave her a Koala bear for good luck. Graves shot the next 50 straight.
- Was the 2000 Military Marksmanship Association Soldier of the Year.
- Was named the 1998 USA Shooting shotgun athlete of the year.
- Began shooting with his father at age 10. The two saw a group of people shooting a trap tournament in a field near their home. Todd asked his father to enter and proceeded to take third place.
Graves has been a member of the U.S. National Team from 1985-1989, then again from 1991-2002. His brief break was because he was assigned as a team leader with the 20th Infantry Regiment in Korea from 1990-1991. Graves credits the Army with his ability to succeed in shooting. "If it wasn't for the Army, I couldn't have accomplished what I have. I'm proud to wear the green uniform. It would have really been hard to make it to the Olympics without the Army." He also credits his success to his parents and wife, his coach, Burl Branham, and his fellow soldiers.
