McClure's fiancee is Jaycie Phelps, a member of the gold medal-winning 1996 Olympic gymnastics team. McClure has no problem getting pumped up to train, even on his "off" days because, in his words, "I've got a 1996 gold medal sitting in front of me every time I come home at night. Now that's motivation!"
