Sullivan, Marco
- Member of the 2006 U.S. Olympic team
- 2001 Nor Am champion in three categories (Overall, Downhill, and Super-G)
- Two-time Ski Racing magazine's "Junior of the Year" (1999, 2000)
- Captured bronze in the Slalom at the 2000 World Junior Championships
- In 2001, Sullivan won three Nor Am downhill events and a super G event en route to claiming three Nor Am season titles in Downhill, Super-G and Overall
- Sullivan suffered a knee injury at the 2000 World Junior Championships
- Captained his high school football team while at North Tahoe High School
- He started skiing on a gravel hill in his Lake Tahoe backyard when he was 3 years old. By age 7, Sullivan was racing
- In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, mountain biking and hunting
As a downhill and Super-G specialist, Sullivan has shown a penchant for speed that former men's Head Coach Bill Egan has seen before. "He has such a great touch for speed," Egan said. "You can see the way he makes a turn, how fast he comes out of turns and he has such good fundamentals...and he came to the Ski Team like that. He was so well-coached as a kid and he has such joy in his skiing. Tommy [Moe] used to have that; I see a lot of Tommy in Marco's skiing."
"It was a good season at the national level but I'm ready for bigger and better things."
