Jana Bieger
- 2008 Olympic hopeful
- Silver medal in the all-around at 2006 World Championships
- Won two gold medals at the 2006 Pacific Alliance Championships in vault and floor
- Won three medals at the 2006 Cottbus Cup in Germany - gold on vault, bronze on bars and silver on beam
- Mother Andrea Bieger is a three-time gymnastics Olympian for West Germany and is Jana's coach
- Took her first gymnastics lesson at two years old
- She is homeschooled
- Lists skiing, boating in the Florida keys, reading, writing, playing on the computer and hanging out with friends as her hobbies
- Her father is Wolfgang Heiden and her brother is Nikolai
- Her first major national meet at the Elite level was the 2003 U.S. Classic, where she placed fourth in the all-around
- Made her senior debut in 2005, placing third in the all-around, vault and floor exercise at the US Nationals
- Member of the American Twisters Gymnastics Academy in Florida
- Carries a stuffed animal to all her competitions - the same stuffed animal that belonged to her mother when she competed
