Jana Lindsey
- Member of the 2006 U.S. Olympic Team as an aerials skier
- Is only South Dakota Native to be named to 2006 U.S. Olympic Team
- Finished 10th in Aerials at 2005 World Championships
- Two 6th-place finishes last season
- 2000 U.S. Junior Aerials Champion
- Tore her ACL in 2003 and used the time off to teach tap-dancing to children in South Dakota
- First became interested in aerials when she saw it on TV as a demonstration sport in 1988
- Went to first aerials camp at age 10 and qualified for first jump at age 11
- Did gymnastics before switching to aerials
- Enjoys camping tap dancing and Pilates
When Lindsay watched the Olympics as a child, she found the athletes inspiring, and she hopes people can look up to her (as the only South Dakota Native to be named to the 2006 U.S. Olympic Team) and be inspired by to continue in whatever sport that they're doing.
