It's Every Day

Gionta’s father owns and operates a hardware store in Greece, NY, where he often visits and sometimes helps out during the offseason. “I don't know if I'd classify it as "work." It's more like hanging out with my father,” Gionta said. “Nowadays I have the leeway financially. Back in the day, I had to work a lot and be responsible. Now I just distract him, get in the way and hang out with a cup of coffee. I run the register every now and then, but nothing major.” USA Today
