Tucker Fredricks
- 2006 Olympic Team member
- 2003 World Junior Championships gold medalist in 500m
- Placed 14th in the 500m in the 2004-05 World Cup standings
- Began skating at age two, as a hockey player
- Began speedskating at age nine because he was too small to continue playing competitive hockey

At the age of 12, Tucker Fredricks chose to take up speedskating as a full time endeavor. He graduated from high school in 2002, and moved to Salt Lake City to train with the U.S. national team, and further pursue his dream of becoming an Olympian
On his feelings leading up to the U.S. Long Track National Championships: "It's the most nervous I've been in three or four years. Three days before the competition, I was stressing out pretty bad. I was worried about myself making mistakes. The day before the competition, I was calmer, and today it was perfect.'' Janesville Gazette
