Anthony Lobello

- Third place overall at 2004 U.S. Junior Short Track Championships
- 2004 Junior World Championships Team member
- Began inline skating at age seven, and one year later told his classmates that he would go to the Olympics someday
- Made the switch from in lines to ice in March 2003
- Currently attends Northern Michigan University and trains at the Olympic Education Center
- Participated in soccer and track and field in high school

Anthony is majoring in Business/Marketing at NMU. “I have classes year-round and right now I can only handle six credits. Skating takes up so much of my time – it’s like a full-time job,” he said. “But I would never give up one or the other. Neither runs my life.” maclay.org
