- Began curling with her parents at age 6 and grew up three blocks from the Portage Curling Club

Brunt’s teammates describe her as the person that keeps everyone organized and together. However, it is most often Brunt the one forgetting something before bonspiels. “I can’t organize myself, but I can organized everybody else,” Brunt said. “I forget something every single game without fail.”
