ONeal is in the running for another NBA MVP for the 2005 season, winning his first MVP award in 2000 playing for the L.A. Lakers. The 7-foot-1, 325-pound centre is trying to become only the third player to win the award with two teams, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Milwaukee Bucks, L.A. Lakers) and Moses Malone (Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers).
On what animal he resembles on the court: "Ask my wife that ... I'd probably be a lion, a tiger, a bear, oh my," he said. "I don't know. I would say eagle because I just like to get out by myself and just ride. Eagles are well-respected. They can be nice or they can be killers."
