Dykman, Janet
- Competed in the Olympics in 1996 and 2000.

- Competed in archery in high school, then quit the sport for 12 years before being inspired to start again while watching 1984 Olympic competition..

- Growing up she worked helping her Dutch immigrant parents in their butcher shop, scraping the fat off pork and lugging around full sides of beef.
- She studied ceramics in night classes at a junior college and now runs her own jewelry-making and ceramics business along with training.
- “I think the ability was there all along,” she told NBC about her 12-year lay-off. “The main problem with taking a long break is the muscles you use.”
