Salchow, Kelly
- Qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games in Women’s Quadruple Sculls
- Fifth in the quadruple sculls at the 2000 Olympic Games
- Won bronze in the quadruple sculls at the 2004 BearingPoint World Cup stop in Lucerne
- Won bronze in the quadruple sculls at the 2000 Zurich World Cup stop in Lucerne
- Won bronze in the quadruple sculls at the 1999 FISA World Cup stop in Lucerne
- Seven-time senior national team member and a two-time Olympian
- Enrolled in the graduate graphic design program at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2001
- Divided her time between training in Providence during the school year, and instructing undergraduates in design at RISD. She was also the assistant coach for the Brown University women in 2001-2002
- Graduated from RISD with honors in 2003 with a MFA in Graphic Design
- Will move to Kansas City to teach at The Kansas City Art Institute following the Olympics
- After stroking the quadruple sculls at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, she returned to her hometown of Cincinnati to work at Kolar Design and to coach the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club girls, where she began rowing in 1989.
