Since he left Marquette early for the NBA, Dwyane would like to finish his degree while playing professionally. Marquette is working out a way for both he and his wife to graduate. After basketball is over, Dwayne hopes to pursue a career in sports broadcasting.

On the benefits of his college playing experience: “College gives you a great experience. Guys coming right out of high school are talented; they wouldn’t make it to the NBA if they weren’t talented. I will bring a lot of experience to the table, though, coming from a university like Marquette. I was taught a lot there, not just in basketball but from a man’s standpoint and a player’s standpoint.”
