She considers her hardest and most rewarding challenge in her life so far was teaching fourth grade at Castlemont Elementary School in California. She prepared for the challenge way back in the second grade, when she had the opportunity to play the role of a pine tree in her school play, displaying great fortitude and mastery of the performing arts.
