Jen ran the shorter races at the Sydney Olympics and switched to the longer race, like the marathon, when she decided she didn’t have enough of a strong kick to finish well in the shorter races. She says at the Sydney Olympics she attended many other events and activities, wearing herself out in the process. “I tried to do too much. This time I’ll try and be a little more low key and focused…and compete to the best of my ability.”
“I think I’d have a very, very outside shot for a medal, but in a marathon you never know.”
