According to her professional team coach Tom Sermanni, Boxx is a dominating leader in the midfield. “She is strong, powerful, good in the air, and has the ability to play make,” he said. When she does get a chance to put the ball in the net, which isn’t often, Boxx isn’t shy, she claims. "I'm not known as a goal scorer. I've been the one to set up players. But if I'm going to score goals, it's coming at a perfect time."
