Mitts, who led Florida to the 1998 NCAA title, hails from a very athletic family with SEC Conference ties. Her father, Don, a cardiac surgeon, played basketball at Kentucky under legendary coach Adolph Rupp; brother, Brian, plays soccer at Kentucky; stepsister, Lindsay Peck, plays soccer at Georgia; and stepbrother, Grayson, plays soccer at Harvard.
