Logan Tom
- Two-time Olympian, finished fourth in 2000, fifth in 2004
- 2002 World Championships silver medalist
- 2001 NCAA champion
- Four-time NCAA All-American and two-time AVCA National College Player of the Year
- Made her professional debut in January, 2003 for Brazilian pro league team MRV/Minas of the Brazil Superliga, after teams in four countries (Brazil, Italy, Puerto Rico and Spain) made offers to sign the world-class player
- Selected as a nominee for the 2003 Sportswoman of the Year Award by the Women’s Sports Foundation (won by swimmer Natalie Coughlin)
- Leading scorer for the U.S. national women's volleyball team, which won a silver medal at the 2002 World Championships in Germany
- Widely considered one of America’s top women’s volleyball players who possesses amazing power and grace
- Awarded 2001-02 AVCA National Player of the Year honors, finishing her Stanford career as the all-time leader with 1,939 career kills
- Played a near-perfect match to give the Stanford Cardinal its fifth championship NCAA championship in ‘01
- Continues to study towards her International Relations degree at Stanford
- Only high school player to compete for U.S. National Team, then at age 19, she started in the Olympics, helping the U.S. to fourth place.

- Her father, Melvyn, was an all-star athlete in Hawaii who went on to play football at San Jose State and the Philadelphia Eagles
Tom’s family heritage is hapa-Chinese-Hawaiian, even though she grew up primarily in Salt Lake City, Utah. "I love Hawaii. It's my favorite place, so laid-back. I love coming here and switching lifestyles.” Her father still lives there, and it’s where she has spent many a summer learning to paddle outrigger canoes and surf waves.
On whom she admires the most on the volleyball court: “One player that I have the privilege to play with is Tara Cross-Battle. She has been like a mentor to me on and off the court and is someone that holds qualities that I would like to obtain someday.”
