- In 2000, Edwards arrived at the Olympic Games as part of the 4x100m relay pool and ended up competing in 3 events - 100, 200, 4x100 relay - when Inger Miller withdrew due to injury

- Has a love for teaching kids track and field; volunteered at numerous clinics while at USC
