In a pre-Olympic tour in 2000, Fernandez pitched five consecutive perfect games and finished the tour with seven perfect games (including one where she struck out all 21 batters she faced). She finished with a 12-0 record, 0.00 ERA, 188 strike outs, and allowing eight hits and two walks in 79.1 innings.
