Getting Started in Archery The USA Archery website offers a calendar of events and regional list of sanctioned clubs for all interested archers, along with contact information. Contact USA Archery for more information on clubs.
Joining the USA Archery Become a member of USA Archery and receive event notices, club information, and the NAA official newsletter, as well as the opportunity to become a member of the U.S. Archery Teams, which compete in national and international events.
Major 2004 Events Junior and Adult National and World Championships are held in two divisions: Indoor Field and Outdoor Target.
- World Field Archery Championships, July 5-10
- World Junior Outdoor Target Championships, July 19-24
- National Target Championships, July 24-31
Becoming a U.S. Olympian In the Olympics, men and women compete in the Outdoor Target division. The Olympic Trials are open to archers who have posted a qualifying score at an NAA sanctioned even in the year prior to the Trials. The top five men and women finishers make the Olympic team.
