Top USA Badminton Athletes Compete in 2007 U.S. National Badminton Championships in Orange, Calif.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A strong field of badminton athletes from throughout the United States, including members of the U.S. National Badminton Team began competition this afternoon in the 2007 K&D Graphics U.S. Adult National Badminton Championships, March 30 – April 1, 2007 at the Orange County Badminton Club in Orange, Calif. Players will compete in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles for the title of USA Badminton National Champion.
Top names competing in the event include Howard Bach (San Francisco, Calif./Orange, Calif.), Khan “Bob” Malaythong (Rockville, Md./Orange, Calif.), Eva Lee (Orange, Calif.), Mesinee “May” Mangkalakiri (Garden Grove, Calif.), Eric Go (Palo Alto, Calif./Orange, Calif.), Nicholas Jinadasa (Long Beach, Calif.) and Jamie Subandhi (Westminster, Calif.) to name a few.

The U.S. National Badminton Championships, first held in Chicago, Ill. In 1937 is sanctioned by USA Badminton, the National Governing Body for the sport of badminton in the United States. This year’s tournament is the 67th U.S. National Badminton Championships.
