Fodor Takes Junior Olympic Double Trap Title

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 20, 2007) – Jared Fodor took the title in the Men’s Double Trap event on Tuesday at the 2007 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and USA Shooting Junior Olympic National Championships. The 14th annual Shotgun Junior Olympics are being held at the International Shooting Park at Fort Carson Military Reservation and run through September 22.
Fodor was the Men’s Double Trap champion with a score of 179, while Sam Lutz finished right behind him in second with 178. William Crawford took the third spot with a final score of 176 targets.
The J2 Champion was Derek Haldeman with 130 targets. Garrett Walters took second place in the J2 category with 126 and Ross Jarrett finished third with 116.
Ian Rupert took the J3 title with a final score of 115 targets, while Austin Thaggard finished second with 100 and Carl Collins took third with 100 targets.
