2008 USA Wakeboard Nationals To Be Held In Elizabethtown, Ky.

POLK CITY, Fla. – USA Wakeboard has announced that the ninth annual USA Wakeboard Nationals will be held Aug. 16-17 at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown, Ky. For the second consecutive year, the USA Wakeboard Nationals will be held in conjunction with the NWL National Championships, an ability-based event for novice wakeboard riders.
“Combining last year's USA Wakeboard Nationals with the NWL Nationals was such a success that we unanimously chose to do it again this year,” said Chris Walker, vice president of USA Wakeboard. “Freeman Lake, which is located in a city park, was chosen because of past proven conditions from previous NWL events.”
The USA Wakeboard Nationals will be open to men and women of all ages and all levels of riding. Athletes will compete for titles in both wakeboarding and wakeskating. The USA Wakeboard Nationals is part of USA Water Ski’s National Championships Series of Events.
