Marlon Shirley Breaks World Record
MARIETTA, Ga. – Two-time U.S. Paralympian Marlon Shirley (Chula Vista, Calif./Tremonton, Utah) set a new world record in the men’s T44 100m with a time of 11.05 at the 2007 U.S. Paralympics Track & Field National Championships. Shirley shaved three-tenths of a second off his own previous world record, which has stood since the 2002 IPC Athletics World Championships in Lille, France.
