2006 Davis Cup preview notes

Attached please find the preview notes for next week's Davis Cup by BNP Paribas semifinals between the United States and Russia to be played on a red clay court in Moscow's Olympic Stadium, the same venue and same surface that was used for the 1995 Davis Cup Final. Pete Sampras won all three points in that match to lead the U.S. to its record 31st Davis Cup title.
This tie will feature three of the four men's singles semifinalists from the 2006 US Open - American Andy Roddick and Russia's Nikolay Davydenko and Mikhail Youzhny, as well as US Open quarterfinalist James Blake and the world's No. 1 doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan.
OLN will televise same-day coverage each day starting at 2 p.m. ET (Friday and Sunday: 2-7 p.m. Saturday: 2-5 p.m.). The Tennis Channel will continue its Davis Cup Prime Time coverage at 8 p.m. ET nightly.
