Richardson Wins Womens Downhill at Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships

GIRDWOOD, Alaska (March 30) - A determined Kaylin Richardson (Edina, MN), looking to bury an erroneous "slalom specialist" image, tore through a downhill course Friday to win by nearly two seconds on opening day of the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships. Julia Littman (Vail, CO) was second with Chelsea Marshall (Pittsfield, VT) earning the bronze medal. Versus will broadcast coverage from Alyeska at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 7
