Miller 3rd in World Cup Finals Giant Slalom

LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 17) - Bode Miller (Bretton Woods, NH), who clinched the super G world title two days earlier, finished third Saturday in giant slalom for his first podium since winning the legendary Lauberhorn downhill on January 13 in Wengen. Norway's Aksel Lund Svindal took the victory at World Cup Finals and reclaimed the overall points lead from Austrian Benjamin Raich, who went out in the first run. Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) was 10th. WCSN.com will broadcast same-day streaming video of the race starting at 2 p.m. ET.
