Roberts Wins Bronze at Worlds
By Kevin Neuendorf // U.S. Olympic Committee // March 13, 2007
Defending champion Nate Roberts (Park City, Utah), returning to the hill where he won his first World Cup, collected the bronze medal Friday night in moguls - .02 away from silver - at the 2007 FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships. Dave Babic (Washington, Vt.) was fifth while former Olympic medalist Shannon Bahrke (Tahoe City, Utah) was fourth in the women's contest, leading three U.S. women into the top 10.
Bahrke (Tahoe City, Calif.) shook off the frustration of narrowly missing a medal 24 hours earlier and collected the silver medal Saturday night in dual moguls, the last event of the 2007 FIS Freestyle World ski Championships.
