SKIING: Ligety Podiums Again, 2nd in Adelboden SL

ADELBODEN, Switzerland (Jan. 8) - Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) produced his third podium of the season Sunday, finishing second as four U.S. men broke into the points behind Italy’s Giorgio Rocca, who won his fourth SL of the winter. OLN will have World Cup coverage today at 5 p.m. ET as part of its ongoing 10 Weeks to Torino programming with a rebroadcast Tuesday at 5 p.m. Rocca, unbeaten in slalom this season, took the first-run lead by nearly a half-second (over Ligety) and powered to victory in 1:39.14. Ligety earned his third podium of the season in 1:39.74 with Austrian Benjamin Raich third; Ligety stayed in second place in the SL standings. For more information www.usskiteam.com
