US Speedskating Announces Long Track Junior World Team

January 29, 2008- Kearns, UT. US Speedskating is proud to announce the U. S. Long Track World Junior Speedskating Team.
Athletes competed for positions on the team during the U. S. Junior Long Track Speedskating Championship January 26-27 at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee, WI. The top three finishers in the men’s and ladies’ events qualified for the honor to represent the United States in Changchun, China February 22-24, where they will compete at the ISU World Junior Speedskating Championships. The week prior to the ISU World Junior Championships, February 16-17, the top four men and ladies will compete in Japan, representing the United States at the ISU Junior Country Match event.
