Erica Mueller leads US Team at alpine World Cup

Erica Mueller (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) led U.S. Snowboarding with an eight-place finish in parallel slalom as the alpine World Cup season opened at SnowWorld's indoor slope in Landgraaf, Netherlands. Olympic bronze medalist Chris Klug (Aspen, Colo.) topped the U.S. men with 11th. (Oct. 11) The Chevrolet Revolution Tour enters its fourth season of providing top notch venues for up-and-coming riders preparing to make the jump to elite level snowboarding competitions. New this year, the tour will qualify athletes into the Chevrolet U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, the nation's premier snowboarding series. (Oct. 10) Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, Vt.) teamed with long-time sponsor, Paul Mitchell, for a print ad campaign designed to deliver a water conservation message. The ad campaign entitled "Head for Change," features Jacobellis, completely dressed in black, holding a snowboard that reads "Every Drop Counts" along the base.
