Karlinski Wins Big Air Silver to Close Junior Worlds

 BAD GASTEIN, Austria (April 13) - U.S. Snowboarding young gun Jordan Karlinski (Aspen, CO) stomped a series of smooth tricks, including a backside 540, off the 50-foot kicker Friday to take the big air silver medal at the final event of the 2007 FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships. Also in action was snowboardcross bronze medalist Brooke Shaw (Bantam, CT) and Michael Trapp (Hyannis, MA), who ripped into the parallel slalom finals to finish 13th on an icy Bad Gastein course.
