Wild First In Race To Cup PGS
By Juliann Fritz // U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association // January 7, 2008
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (Jan. 4) - One of the newest U.S. Snowboarding athletes, Vic Wild (White Salmon, WA), won Friday's Race to the Cup parallel giant slalom for his fourth NorAm victory of the season.
"When I came in today I just wanted to stick with it, and whether I was in last place or in first, I wanted to do the things I've been working on - and I got lucky and won," Wild said. "I'm just going to try to do the same thing tomorrow and hopefully I get a good result, but I'm really not too worried about the results."
